1.   Houston Texans – Blake Bortles, QB

I got ripped from some Texans fans last year for taking a QB and see your results… NOW clearly a need for Houston so the no.1 pick will be the QB position AGAIN, like so many years before.

Despite reports of a not tooooo spectacular Pro-Day I still believe he is considered by the Texans. On the other hand Clowney comes more and more to my mind as the 1st overall pick of the 2014 NFL Draft.

Previous pick: Teddy Bridgewater, QB

2.   TRADE: Atlanta Falcons from St. Louis Rams (Trade Redskins 2012- RGIII) – Jadeveon Clowney, DE

GM Les Sneed came from ATL to the Rams. Knows all the Front Office people there well. I think they move it and already have a deal in place (no additional first rounders I guess), but after playing FA so slow they have to get extra picks.

Atlanta pick comes down to Clowney or Mack.

3.   Jacksonville Jaguars – Sammy Watkins, WR

For me this makes sense. Not much of an offense, your main WR is always suspended and your franchise Rushing leader is gone. Henne can play QB and to add a weapon like Watkins makes as much sense as a rookie QB.

4.   Cleveland Browns – Teddy Bridgewater, QB

Puh, the Browns are the Browns, so I never will figure out what they will do. Releasing your first round pick before drafting him is not possible so why not try another QB, this time even higher than in 2012.

Previous pick: Blake Bortles, QB

5.   Oakland Raiders – Mike Evans, WR

Same like no. 4 but some fancy moves (including the no-move for Saffold) in FA. Manziel, will not happen like predicted before FA Mock Draft. Schaub will start and throw to the other team a pick 6. Skill position is on my mind. See pick, but adding D. Jackson will change everything.

Previous pick: Johnny Manziel, QB

6.   St. Louis Rams – Greg Robinson, OT

Moved down and almost have to pick a OL with all those nasty D`s in the NFC Best. He or Matthews should make most sense. But with Fisher you never know. Look out for bad boy moves: Incocnito (knows and likes J. Long well) and the other Michigan guy, Taylor Lewan. Brrr, that would be even more 15yard penalties against the Rams in 2014.

7.   Tampa Bay Buccaneers – Jake Matthews, OT

I think this is needed, because I don`t see A. Collins as a RT ad Donald Penn was cut. DE should be set so will move on with my K. Mack pick.

Previous pick: Khalil Mack, DE

8.   Minnesota Vikings – Johnny Manziel, QB

At no. 8 the Vikings admit, that they paniced with C. Ponder some years ago and choose the pick the star QB from Texas A&M. This guy will be loved in Min.

Previous pick: Darqueze Dennard, CB

9.   Buffalo Bills – Khalil Mack, DE/OLB

The talented third OL missing in this Mock, or a steal of a DE how should long be gone or a huge/speedy WR for your 2nd year QB…

I like every pick, to be honest, but hunting Tom Brady would be fun and also you can get rid of M. Williams contract after one or two years.

Previous pick: Jake Matthews, OT

10.  Detroit Lions – Justin Gilbert, CB

After FA which means the Golden Tate signing, I don`t think the Lions take a WR. Secondary was a mess in 2013 and a talented CB just fits what they need.

Previous pick: Mike Evans, WR

    1.   Houston Texans – Teddy Bridgewater, QB

The first pick gets the only comment this time of the year, because we don`t do an explanation until start of Free Agency. After start of FA it makes much more sense to put in the extra work.
