Jensen Mocks the 3rd time

E-mail Print PDF

The front runner is going to work again...GO RYAN!!! 32 hits would make you famous around the net... Money mouth

1. Detroit Lions – QB Matthew Stafford

Sure pick, if he’s not to greedy for money – then the Lions could turn to Curry and Stafford might fall out of the top 10 and lose more bucks.

2. St. Louis Rams – OT Jason Smith

I’d love to see the Rams go defence, but they will draft the total package and restart the franchise on the shoulders of a run-based offence.

3. Kansas City Chiefs – OT Eugene Monroe

Save your franchise quarterback and let the old OLB’s earn their charity.

Version 1.1 updated on 18th April (including the PHI-BUF trade for Jason Peters)

1. Detroit Lions – QB Matthew Stafford

The obvious pick if his agents says "Yes" to realistic account numbers. Why? Name a good one up in Detroit since Scott Mitchell aired it out to Hermann Moore and Brett Perriman. f

2. Denver Broncos – QB Mark Sanchez (Trade)

Update: We took some heat from Ickey (see below) for this pick but the Redskins are also in play and the Jets are also rumored to have interest in the surfer boy from Cal. So who gambles and moves as far up to secure his services for sure!!! Denver will…

This pick belonges to my beloved RAMS so what can I hope for: Trade out of this position! Fearless prediction has Denver trading its two number 1 picks for the 2nd overall pick in the 2009 draft. Denver fills the hole left due to the Jay Cutler trade and selects the next QB of its future. The Rams are able to add quality depth with the 12th and 18th overall picks and the deal will come through because the Rams will bite without an additional 3rd round pick from Denver.

Comment by Ickey:

Dear Moose, I like your mock draft, BUT: The Broncos trading up to the number 2 spot is pure wishful thinking! If they want Sanchez, they’ll find plenty of teams drafting between, say, 5 and 8 and more than willing to trade down. Sanchez should still be available there, and they won’t have to pay him crazy money if they draft him there. What say you?

3. Kansas City Chiefs – LB Aaron Curry

In my opinion that’s simply the best player in the draft and the Chiefs will take him. LT is not a possibility with Brandon Albert in place so go for D and a rare athlete and good character guy.

Ryan Jensens Mock v2.0

You talk about Web 2.0. Forget about it.

Here is Ryan Jensens Mock Draft Version 2.0 presented by GetFootballNews.com.

The Top 10

1. Detroit Lions – QB Matthew Stafford

Wanted: A player with the ability to guide a franchise to success.Reward: 50 millions plus – experience not required.Too bad that it’s not allowed to draft OLB first overall, so Stafford is the only solution.

2. St. Louis Rams – OT Eugene Monroe

The Pace-curse – repeat your former draft strategy and pick the best OT available to establish a run-first offence but you will pass on Curry.

3. Kansas City Chiefs – OLB Aaron Curry

It’s finger-licking good to have a the best player of a draft fall to you at number three – therefore it doesn’t matter that your new franchise quarterback will be sacked 40 times.

Mock Draft 2009

in German and we waited too long to translate it... Cool

1. Detroit Lions – QB Matthew Stafford

2. St. Louis Rams – WR Michael Crabtree
