Matt Forte ran 67 yards for a touchdown and icing the comeback of the chiefs with 1:48 to play. The rookie showed no signs of fatigue and pounded through the porous defence all night long.

Robbie Gould and the special teams were nearly perfect the whole game. The kicker was 4 for 5 missing only a 50 yards plus field goal against the wind. Back-up linebacker Nick Roach was a force on punt and kick returns and registered 4 special teams tackles.
Key stat
The bears defence controlled the line of scrimmage and held chiefs running back Larry Johnson to just 43 yards on 20 carries. Star linebacker Brian Urlacher registered 10 tackles and after missing the first game due to injury cornerback Charles Tillman picked Thigpen twice early in the game.
