Quick Take: Big plays lift Bengals past Bills, 38-26

Cedric Benson sheds several tacklers as he rumbles runs 18 yards to open the scoring in the first quarter
It was over when...
User-controlled LB Keith Rivers stripped the ball from J.P. Losman, and big DT Domata Peko recovered, with the Bengals up 35-14 and 2 minutes left in the third quarter. Although the Bills would put up a late rally, it was too little, too late.
Game ball
Cincinnati's LE Robert Geathers registered 3 sacks - a real difference maker in a game of two very evenly matched team. Geathers now has 7 sacks for the season.
Key stat
None - you would find it very hard to tell who won by looking at the stat sheet! Both QBs even had the exact same number of passing yards (253). Thus, big plays decided the outcome, and the Bengals simply had a few more of those, including a 46 yard INT return for a TD by Jonathan Joseph, a 57 yard catch and run by Kenny Watson on 3rd and 5, and a 43 yard bomb for a TD from Palmer to Chad "call me Ocho Cinco" Johnson.
Noteworthy
Trent Edwards left the game in the second quarter with a dislocated ankle, and is expected to miss 6 weeks... Against a stout Bills defense, Bengals RB Cedric Benson managed just over 100 yards rushing... Controlled for the entire game by coach Ickey himself, OLB Keith Rivers had a very nice stat line: 4 tackles, 1 sack, 1 forced fumble, 2 pass deflections, and most importantly, 1 BIG HIT.
