Aaron Rodgers and Ryan Grant were benched at halftime, after leading the Pack to a 31-3 halftime lead against weak Lions. Backups Brian Brohm and Brandon Jackson also did very well and secured the first 50+ points Packers win of the season.
Game ball
Pro Bowl WR Greg Jennings continued his good play of the recent weeks, catching 11 balls for 158 yards and a TD.
Key stat
The Packers D forced 4 Lions turnovers and sacked Daunte Culpepper 7 times. Four of those sacks were made by Aaron Kampman, three of the four within the first 3min of the game, giving the Pack huge momentum going into their first offensive drive.
Noteworthy
Backup QB Brian Brohm made an impressive appearance in the second half of the game completing 21 of 24 passes for 168yrds and two TDs with 0 interceptions, racking up a QB rating of 123.6! ... Due to an injury to Jordy Nelson, Will Blackmon returned kicks for the Pack and had a great game with a 37yrd return average... The Lions only TD came on a 97yrd kick-off return early in the 4th quarter.
