Quick Take: Bears win but pay heavy price "URLI"

Untouched

Yep! There is no defender anywhere...

It was over when ...

Rookie Matt Forte ran for his second goalline touchdown to make it 27-7.

Game ball

Kylie Orton – are you sure? Yes, the Bears quarterback just threw for 109 yards but he was a perfect 11 for 11. The words Orton and perfect in one sentence made him earn the trophy.

Key stat

After being criticized by the media for his poor performance RT John Tait played like a man among baby against the Raiders D-Line. He was credited for 8 pancakes and allowed no sack. Both goalline touchdown’s by Forte were run behind the veterans big back.

Noteworthy

It was just the second play of the game when Bears fans held their breath. Brian Urlacher was down after a tackle for loss and held his wrist. The MLB was not just out for the game but will miss about 3 weeks with a sprained wrist.

Bills @ Dolphins 6-24

Coach Mute admitted this week (once in a while he gets caught without his lawyer) that he even has not installed!!!! the game at the moment. Oh my good, for my part, three kids are three too much Cool.

49ers @ Seahawks 22-28

No wonder. Coach Jones was severe ill and made it to bring even a medical examination to the board of quick players. Good job Jones and get well soon... Could be worth a joker the following week. Board discussion? Cool

General information

Game reports that are not delivered within the week of play are simply to late, Mr. couch coach Ryan Jensen. Cool

Quick Take: Rams score season high 45 points in N.O.

steven

Nearly had him....Tongue out

It was over when...

Marc Bulger finally had his playbook in mind and not his sexy girlfriend. Marc Bulger had - by far - his best game of the season connecting with nearly every person from the Rams O.

Game ball

goes to Marc Bulger. Why? Because "Jackass" cannot have him each week. Marc Bulger completed 82% of his passes, for 185 yards, 3TD`s and no pick. He had a QB rating of 151,6.

Key stat

Kick return man Kenneth Darby had 6 returns for 223 yards and the first return TD of the season. He went untouched 98 yards into the Saints end zone. Steven Jackson was a beast again gaining 148 yards on the ground, including a 49 yard scamper for a TD. On the Defensive side Todd Johnson and "Big-Will" Witherspoon combined for 16 of the Rams tackles.

Noteworthy

Don`t get it wrong. The first three points of this article sound like a dominating Rams team but N.O. played hard. Drew Brees nearly passed for 300 yards and the Saint O clicked, but simply coulnd`t put the ball into the Rams house. The had more first downs and yards then the Rams O and Devery Henderson, Marques Colston and Billy Miller caught 21 passes for over 200 yards. Did you know that each of the top four Ram WR`s caught one ball? Three of those catches went for TD`s including a 37 and a 40 yarder over the poorless Saints pass defense.

Quick Take: Queens leave Packertown after 15-27 beating

 Fierce Packers LBs

Fierce Packers LBs: A.J. Hawk sacks Tarvaris Jackson replacement Gus Frerotte on a 3rd down in the Packs Redzone forcing the field goal. Nick Barnett puts a hard flying hit on Bernard Berrian who cannot hold on to the ball he just caught on the run.

It was over when...

Ryan Grant put his third TD-nail into the Queens' coffin by scoring on a 4th and goal from the 1yrd line in the third quarter to give the Pack a comfortable 24-3 lead. Even a late rally of the purple&gold did not change the final outcome of the game.

Game ball

Ryan Grant again and again, this time with 221 total yards, 162 on the ground. Grant, who had a 6.2yrd rushing average and ran for 20+yards three times also scored all three Packer TDs. The Vikings D was pounded by both Packers RBs, also Brandon Jackson managed to run for a 6.0yrd average on 6 tries.

Key stat

Minnesota's Adrian Peterson was held to 43 rushing yards, mostly by the great effort of Packers MLB Nick Barnett, who led the green and gold Defense with 8 tackles.

Noteworthy

No team backed down in this brutal game between the two NFC North rivals. Tarvaris Jackson was knocked out early but returned, just to leave the game for good early in the 2nd quarter. Vikings Kick and Punt retuner Bobby Wade left the game twice, but had the guts to return, while even tough guys like Jared Allen took a timeout. For the Home team, Aaron Rodgers stayed on the sidelines after a hard hit with 10min to go in the last quater. Earlier Brady Poppinga and Greg Jennings also were amongst those that were out for several minutes.

Quick take: Ravens win AFC North showdown, 19-14

Bartman

Bart Scott sacks Palmer, leaving Samari Rolle to pick up the loose ball and run it back 27 yards for the only score in the first half

It was over when...

Cincinnati failed to recover an onside kick with 11 seconds left on the clock. After struggling all day, the Bengals offense had somehow managed to put together a long scoring drive to pull within 5 points of the Ravens, but it was not enough.

Game ball

Ravens LB Bart Scott had 8 tackles and 2 sacks. More importantly, he caused 2 turnovers (a forced fumble and an interception) that led directly to 10 points.

Key stat

Baltimore's defense never let Carson Palmer get into a rhythm, sacking him 8 times.

Noteworthy

In the first half, Cincinnati managed only 19 total yards of offense...  With the Bengals down by only 6 points early in the fourth quarter, Shayne Graham's 51-yard FG attempt hit the crossbar and was no good... 5 Bengals were injured during the game, including Cedric Benson, who missed the entire second half, and SS Chris Crocker, who will miss 4 weeks with a mild concussion.
